BM35 is a high-speed steel grade with excellent wear resistance, toughness, and heat resistance properties. It is commonly used in various industrial applications due to its superior performance and durability.

Mechanical Properties:
– Hardness: 64-66 HRC
– Tensile strength: 2400-2600 MPa
– Yield strength: 2000-2200 MPa
– Elongation: 8-10%
– Charpy impact strength: 25-30 J/cm2

Chemical Composition:
– Carbon (C): 0.90-1.05%
– Silicon (Si): 0.20-0.50%
– Manganese (Mn): 0.20-0.50%
– Chromium (Cr): 3.80-4.40%
– Vanadium (V): 3.00-3.50%
– Molybdenum (Mo): 4.50-5.50%
– Tungsten (W): 6.00-6.50%

Applications:
BM35 steel grade is often used in high-speed cutting tools, such as milling cutters, drills, taps, and reamers. It is also employed in cold work applications, including die casting, blanking, and forming tools. Additionally, BM35 is suitable for manufacturing applications where high wear resistance and toughness are essential, such as in the production of machine parts and components subjected to high stress and abrasive conditions.
