Four lines that get you a price instead of a question
A steel enquiry can be priced the moment it contains four facts, and it cannot be priced without them:
- Grade or material — S355J2, DX51D+Z275, 304, PIR panel. If you do not know the grade, say what the part does and we will propose one.
- Size — thickness × width × length for flat products, height × width × wall for hollow sections, diameter and wall for pipe, thickness and cover for roofing.
- Quantity — tons, metres, square metres or pieces. A container load and a sample are different prices.
- Destination — the port or the city. Freight, the conformity certificate and the preference document all depend on it.
Asked over chat one at a time, those four take a day of messages across time zones. Written into the first message, the quotation comes back in hours. Drawings, cutting lists and DXF files can be sent straight into the chat.
