- From Kazakhstan at 316 USD per tonne to Mexico at 2,454, a 677 % range. Diameter and wall carry most of it: thin-wall small-bore tube costs far more per tonne than heavy structural round.
- Welded round tube crossed into the reporting markets at 2,957,438 tonnes in welded tube, circular of 2024, 3,795 million dollars, with Germany at 32 %.
- Australia shows 7,452 USD per tonne more on export than import, which for tube means a mill buying strip and selling finished pipe.

This six-digit code is used here instead of the whole 7306 chapter because the chapter also holds stainless and precision tube, which would lift the average beyond recognition.
- Tube price is strip price plus a forming and welding conversion, usually 120 to 200 USD per tonne depending on size and mill.
- Water pipe to EN 10255 and structural tube to EN 10219 report identically but are tested differently; the first is pressure tested, the second is not.
- Galvanized tube — hot-dip after welding — adds the zinc cost and a further conversion charge, and that version dominates in plumbing markets.
- Small diameters below 21 mm and large diameters above 219 mm both price above the middle of the range, for opposite reasons.
